In the Navigation bar, select Emoot History and switch between tabs to see your Sent and Received Emoots.
Emoot History will be saved for as long as you have an active account.
We haven’t built this into our app but you may be able to use a screenshot to capture / record your Emoot.
Emoot allows for different media types (videos and images) to be uploaded but a limitation on file size, if your file is too large you can try exporting to a lower quality and/or resolution or trimming down the length.
Emoot does not share or use your digital greeting in any way other than its intended use. We reserve the right to review content that is illegal, inappropriate or has been brought to our attention by the Giftee. See our Terms of Use.
All Gifters and Giftees must have a Canadian bank account in order to use INTERAC e-transfer services.
Our limit for an Emoot gift is $3000, but your financial institution may have a lower limit based on your account with them. Please contact your financial institution with any e-transfer limit inquiries.
Your Giftee (Emoot recipient) will receive the money through INTERAC e-transfer, the deposit notification will be sent to the giftee’s email.
Neither! Emoot funds are sent through Interac e-transfer. We may offer other methods of gift amount transfer in the future.
Our pricing is separated into the 1) Emoot digital greeting message which includes the message creation, sending and storage, and 2) the payment processing, and the INTERAC e-transfer fee which covers the cost for the Gifter’s payment processing and fund transfer.

Emoots are sent as soon as your payment is completed. Once the Emoot has been opened, the INTERAC e-transfer will be sent. The timing for the Giftee to receive the e-transfer varies depending on the Giftee’s financial institution.
Giftees have 7 days to accept the e-transfer. After 7 days if the Emoot is not accepted then the transfer is cancelled and the gifted funds will be returned to the Gifter minus the Emoot fees plus a cancellation charge.

Emoot is a Web application you can access like a Website, from any device. We are mobile-first, meaning you will see the best format and performance from a smartphone or tablet.
An account is required to allow for secure INTERAC e-transfers. It also lets you keep your Emoot History where you can view and replay all the Emoots you Send and Receive.
